Posted by Administrator on December 29th, 2008. Filed under: Vegetarian.I was given a very tattered looking book for Christmas by a woman named Mrs Maria Rundell. A Domestic Goddess, Rundell sold half a million copies of her first cookbook, Domestic Cookery in the 1820s. I do not hold the original however, but a reprint from 1863. It is filled with amazing little recipes which throw measurements themselves out the window.
This blog is primarily made up of my own recipes, but I thought it would be nice if once a month I whipped up something from this prim and proper little publication.
